Festival trip sign-up

Friends say which days they want and how they'll stay, before tickets drop.

What's inside

Friends tick the days they're in for, say if they buy tickets with the group and pick camping, glamping or a hotel. Campers say whether their tent has room or they need space in one.

Getting a crew to a festival

Send the link as soon as the lineup drops, and close it a few days before tickets go on sale. Ticket queues don't wait for late replies.

Count the group buy answers per day. Decide who buys for whom before the sale opens, so three people aren't in the queue for the same tickets.

Match tents early. Tents with room for two more and people needing space usually balance out, and nobody brings four tents for six people.

Share the must-see acts before the festival. Overlapping sets are easier to settle in the group chat than in a field with no signal.

Festival crew questions

Can friends come for only one day?

Yes. The days question is a checkbox, so a Saturday-only friend ticks Saturday. Count tickets per day from the answers. Day tickets often cost more than half a weekend pass, so if a friend ticks two days, check whether the full pass is cheaper. Camping usually needs a weekend ticket too, which matters for anyone who also picked camping.

Does it buy the tickets?

No. It tells you how many to buy and for whom. One or two people buy for the group when the sale opens. Many festivals limit each buyer to four or six tickets, so split the list between buyers before sale day. Add the per-buyer limit to the intro, so friends know who is buying theirs and nobody buys twice.

Why ask for a phone number?

Festival plans happen in the group chat. A number per person lets you add everyone the moment they sign up. The question is required, so nobody joins the list without a way to reach them. Post a fixed meeting point in the chat before day one, like the left side of the sound desk, because phones die by Saturday night.
