3v3 basketball tournament registration

Captains register a team with every player's name and shirt size, and the bracket caps at 32 teams.

What's inside

The captain says how many players are on the roster and gives each one's name and shirt size; youth captains add a parent or guardian phone, and the form closes at 32 teams.

Running a one-day 3x3

32 teams fit a double elimination bracket on four half courts in one long Saturday. With two courts, close the form at 16 teams.

A fourth player is worth allowing: 3x3 in summer heat needs a sub, and teams with one rarely forfeit.

Shirt sizes per player go straight to your printer. Order two days after the form closes and keep five spare XLs for late roster changes.

For youth teams, the guardian phone is who you call if the captain gets hurt or a game time changes. Keep the division ages in the option labels so teams enter the right bracket.

3x3 tournament questions

Can a team change a player after registering?

Yes. Edit their reply in your list, or have the captain send the form again and delete the first reply. The bracket count stays the same. Put a roster deadline in the intro, a few days before you order shirts, since sizes come from each player's line. A player added after that gets a spare at check-in.

How do I take the team entry fee?

List the fee per team and how to pay in the intro. Collect it at check-in or send a payment link to each captain. Fillio doesn't process payments. Charge per team rather than per player, since a roster can grow from three to four. Ask captains to pay before brackets go out on Thursday, so every team in the bracket has paid.

Can I run more divisions?

Add options to the division question, like women's open or high school varsity. Keep the total cap at what your courts can play in a day. To cap one division, set a limit on its option, for example 8 teams for women's open; the option shows as full once those teams are in, and the rest keep filling.
