RSVP form templates

Replies, headcounts and the details you plan around, collected from one link.

Choosing an RSVP form

Start from the event closest to yours, then delete what you won't act on. A dinner party RSVP asks what each guest doesn't eat; a kids' party RSVP asks who picks the child up.

Each form shows its follow-up questions only to the guests they apply to, so a guest who declines answers one question, not ten.

Ask for replies three to four weeks before the day, or before your venue or caterer needs a final number.

RSVP form questions

Can guests RSVP without an account?

Yes. Guests open your link and reply in the browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. Only you need an account, and only when you save the form to keep it. Guests type their name and tap their answers, so a reply takes about a minute. A QR code on a printed card opens the same form.

Can I collect a name and a meal for each guest someone brings?

Yes. The wedding RSVP asks how many guests someone brings, then asks for a name and a meal once per guest. The dinner party RSVP does the same for food restrictions. A family of four gets four meal choices, not one shared answer. Change the meal options in your copy to match your caterer's menu.

What's the difference between an RSVP and a registration form?

An RSVP answers an invitation with yes, maybe or no. A registration is the answer itself: the workshop registration asks for a session instead of a reply. Use an RSVP when you invited people by name and want a headcount. Use a registration when anyone with the link can sign up and places are limited, like a class of twelve.
