What's inside

Guests who accept pick a meal and say how many guests they bring; each guest then gets a name and a meal of their own. Guests who decline see one field: a note for the two of you. The last screen thanks each guest by name.

Running your wedding RSVPs

Send the link with your invitations, about eight weeks before the day, and ask for replies three to four weeks out. That leaves time to chase late replies before your caterer needs the final count.

Keep only the questions you will act on. A meal choice matters when each plate is served to order; for a buffet, delete it. Keep the song question if your DJ takes requests, or move it to a separate song request form closer to the day.

If only some guests may bring someone, duplicate your form after you finish it. Send the copy with the guest question to those guests and a copy without it to everyone else. Each copy has its own link and its own replies.

Replies arrive as they come in, one row per reply, with each guest's name and meal in their own columns: Guest 1, Guest 2. A week before your deadline, check the list against your guest list and message the people who haven't answered yet.

Change the names, the date and the menu before you send it. The look you pick here comes with your copy, and you can switch to another one at any time.

Wedding RSVP questions

Can guests RSVP without creating an account?

Yes. Guests open your link and reply in the browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. Only you need an account, and only when you save the form to keep it. If a grandparent would rather reply by phone call, open the link yourself and fill in their answers, so every reply still sits in the same list.

How do I collect a meal for each guest someone brings?

Keep the question “How many guests are you bringing?”. Answer 2 and the form asks twice for a full name and a meal from the same menu, once per guest. Guests who come alone answer 0 and never see those questions.

Can I change the menu?

Yes. Rename the three dishes, add a children's meal or delete the question for a buffet. The rule that shows the meal only to guests who accept keeps working when you rename options, because it follows the answer, not its words.

What happens when a guest declines?

They see one optional field for a note to you, and the meal and guest questions stay hidden. Their last screen says you'll miss them, by name, and their reply still lands with the others. A decline frees a seat, so you can invite someone from your second list. If they change their mind before the deadline, they reply again and you keep the newer answer.
