Potluck sign-up sheet
Everyone claims a course, and each course closes once the table has enough of it.
What's inside
Each course takes a set number of people and then shows as full; people bringing food name their dish, its allergens and whether it needs an outlet.

Getting a balanced potluck table
Plan the course limits from your headcount. For 60 people, eight mains, ten sides, five salads and six desserts feed everyone with leftovers to send home. Drinks and plates need only a few people.
The dish name answers the question everyone asks: is anyone else bringing lasagna? Read the list the night before and nudge duplicates toward an open course.
The allergen boxes let you print small cards for the table, so a guest with a nut allergy can eat without asking at every dish.
Count the slow cookers before the day. Six outlets on one extension cord will trip a fuse in most church halls.
Potluck sign-up questions
How do the course limits work?
Each course has a number of places. When dessert has six people, it shows as full and the next person picks another course. Change any number to fit your crowd before you share the link. The whole sheet also closes at 35 sign-ups, so if you add places to a course, raise that total too.
Can guests see what others are bringing?
Replies go to you, not to other guests. Paste the dish list into your reminder message the week before, so people see the menu and nobody brings a second potato salad. Add up the serves column too. If the dishes feed fewer people than you expect, ask a few cooks to make a double batch.
Can I use it for an office or Friendsgiving potluck?
Yes. Rename the courses, adjust the numbers and change the intro. The form works the same for a team lunch of 15 or a church picnic of 150. For an office lunch, ask about fridge space instead of outlets. Close sign-ups two days before, so you can fill any gap with one store run.
