How to make a QR code for a form

Fillio is a free online form builder, and the QR code sits in each form's Share menu, next to the link.

    Describe it in a sentence, like a feedback card with a table number and a star rating.

    Open Share in the editor and press Download QR code.

    Put it on a menu, a poster, a flyer or a name badge.

Decide when the printed code stops taking answers

A code on paper stays up long after an event. The form decides what a late scan sees.

  • Close it on a date

    Set a closing date and anyone who scans afterwards sees that the form is closed.

  • Stop at a number

    Cap the total responses, or give each option its own limit for a sign-up with limited spots.

  • Take a photo at the table

    Ask for a receipt or a picture with a file upload question.

Questions

Does the QR code still work after I edit the form?

Yes. The code holds the form's link, not a copy of the form. Change a question after printing and the same code opens the new version. It keeps working for as long as the form exists.

What size is the QR code?

The download is a 512 px PNG, black on white, with a small quiet border around the code. That is sharp enough for a flyer, a table card or a slide.

Can I see how many people scanned it?

Insights shows how many times the form was opened and how many of those visits ended in a sent response. A scan opens the form, so every scan counts as an open.

Can one QR code collect answers from several tables?

Yes. Add a table number question, as in the example above, and print the same code for every table. All answers land in one list, and the table number tells them apart.
