Using the answers on the first day

Send the link a few days before the first day. Read the pronunciation answers before roll call, so every name is said right the first time.

The "nobody would guess" answers make a quick game. Read three out and let the group guess who wrote them.

Keep the goal answers for later. Hand them back in June and ask each person whether they got better at it.

Get to know you questions

Can I use it for a new team at work?

Yes. Swap the superpower for a workplace question, such as "Best way to reach you", and rename the title. The rest works for adults too. The pronunciation question matters at work as much as in class, especially with colleagues you mostly meet on video calls. Read a few of the fun answers at the first team meeting to break the ice.

Do students need an email to answer?

No. The form asks for a name only. Students open the link on a phone or a school laptop and answer. For a class of 25 to 30, a QR code on the board on the first morning gets every answer in within a few minutes. Students who join later in the term use the same link, and their answers land in the same list.

Can parents fill it in for young kids?

Yes. Change the intro to address parents, and the answers become a quick profile of each child before the year starts. Ask parents to fill it in with their child, so the answers still sound like the kid. Add a question for allergies or who picks them up if you need it, and put the link in your welcome email.
