Page Breaks

A Page Break block divides your form into pages. Content above the break is on one page, content below is on the next.

Adding a Page Break

2. 2Select Page Break from the insert menu.
3. 3The form splits at that point, and a button is added to the end of the first page automatically.

Naming a page

Every page break carries a small pill with the page name. Click it, type a new name and press Enter. The name is for you: it labels the page in the editor and in the Jump to page action. Respondents never see it.

Navigation

Respondents move forward with the page button and back with Previous, which appears on every page except the first. The completion button only appears on the last page.

Button labels

Each page ends with its own button, labelled Next by default. Select the button and change Button Text in the settings panel. The last page's button reads Submit.

Validation runs page by page

Required questions are checked one page at a time. A respondent cannot move forward until every required question on the current page is answered, and questions hidden by conditional logic are skipped.

End page

An End Page block replaces the default thank-you screen with your own. It is a separate page shown after a successful submission, and you write it exactly like any other page.

An end page accepts headings, paragraphs, images and embeds, but no questions and no buttons. A form has at most one, and a page break cannot be placed inside it.

Combining with Conditional Logic

Use a Jump to Page action in a Conditional Logic block to route respondents to a different page based on their answers.

The jump is evaluated when the respondent presses the page button, so the answers they have just given decide where they land.
